The Antichrist
Matthew 24:23-24
Then if anyone says to you, ‘Behold, here is the Messiah,’ or ‘There He is,’ do not believe him. For false Messiahs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.
Yeshua is warning us that there will be false Messiahs. So it’s important to know all the facts about the Messiah and the antichrist . Else you will be mislead. That’s why I made this bible study.
John 7:42
Has not the Scripture said that the Messiah comes from the descendants of David, and from Bethlehem, the village where David was?”
We know that Yeshua is the Messiah . He’s a descendant of David and is born in Bethlehem. But the jews are not accepting Yeshua as the Messiah . They’re waiting for another Messiah . Unfortunately they will accept the antichrist as their Messiah . This antichrist must be born in Bethlehem and be a descendant of King David. Else they will never accept the antichrist as their Messiah .
Romans 11:26
And so all Israel will be saved; just as it is written, “The Deliverer will come from Zion, He will remove ungodliness from Jacob.”
The Messiah will save Israel and He is installed as King upon Zion, Yahweh’s holy mountain in Jerusalem. His inheritance is the whole earth. That means that Yeshua, the Messiah will have a world kingdom.
Psalms 2:4-8
He who sits in the heavens laughs, The Lord scoffs at them. Then He will speak to them in His anger And terrify them in His fury, saying, “But as for Me, I have installed My King Upon Zion, My holy mountain.” “I will surely tell of the decree of the Lord: He said to Me, ‘You are My Son, today I have begotten You. Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Your inheritance, and the very ends of the earth as Your possession.
The antichrist wants to have this world kingdom. He will show himself as the Deliverer from Israel and Israel will accept Him as their king, the Messiah.
Romans 14:17
For the kingdom of Yahweh is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
The kingdom of Messiah is a peace kingdom, where joy in the Holy Spirit and righteousness is found. So the antichrist is promising peace. And the people will love him.
Revelation 13:11
Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb and he spoke as a dragon.
This beast isn’t literally a beast. Like Yeshua is also not literally a lamb. It’s a man who looks like the Messiah , but speaks and acts as the devil. A fake Messiah coming out of the nation Israel. Because earth is a symbol of the nation Israel. It’s also logical that this person comes out of the nation Israel, because he has to be a descendant of David, born in Bethlehem.
Revelation 13: 13
He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down out of heaven to the earth in the presence of men.
The antichrist will perform miracles. Especially the fire out of heaven will be a miracle that Israel sees as from Yahweh. Because Elijah prayed for fire out of heaven as proof that his God is the real God. Everyone who isn’t written in the book of life will be seduced.
But Yeshua told us how He really would come.
Matthew 24:27
For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes even to the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.
His coming will be visible everywhere on earth. He comes out of the sky like lightning.
Acts 1:10-11
And as they were gazing intently into the sky while He was going, behold, two men in white clothing stood beside them. They also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Yeshua, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven.”
The angels are here saying that Yeshua will come out of heaven the same way as He was taken. He will come down out of the sky.
You will see the real Messiah coming out of heaven. That is very important to remember. This way you know who is the real Messiah.
