Yeshua, the Truth
John 14:6
Yeshua said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.
Yeshua is telling here that He is the truth. In my first lessons I already teached that Yeshua is the Word. You can read this in John 1:14.
John 1:14
And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten (son) from the Father, full of grace and truth.
You see here that the Word is filled with truth. In John 17:17 you see that the Word is the truth. And Jesus is the Word, so He is also the Truth.
John 17:17
Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth.
We are now going to John 8 verse 31 til 32.
John 8:31-32
So Yeshua was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
When you live as Yeshua teaches you, you will be truly His students and you will know the truth. This truth of Yeshua liberates. It liberates you from sin. It helps you to do good things. It brings you in Yahweh’s Kingdom where is peace and joy.
1 Corinthians 13:6
Love does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth
When you do the things that the Word of God teaches you, love will increase in you and love will increase around you.
1 John 3:18
Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth.
It’s better to show our love by doing good things for the people then only talking about love. If you come with only nice words, you bring nothing. When you’re not acting like you were telling in your words, there’s no truth. If you are doing the opposite, your words are even becoming lies.
Ephesians 4:14-15
Then we will no longer be like babies. We will not be people who are always changing like a ship that the waves carry one way and then another way. We will not be influenced by every new teaching we hear from people who are trying to deceive us—those who make clever plans and use every kind of trick to fool others into following the wrong way. No, we will speak the truth with love. We will grow to be like the Messiah in every way.
And when you tell about the Word of Yahweh, you will grow and will become a better person. You will look and act more and more like Yeshua.
James 1:23-24
For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror; for once he has looked at himself and gone away, he has immediately forgotten what kind of person he was.
If you are not living as Yahweh’s Word is teaching you. It is as if you’re forgetting how you look like. The mirror shows how you look like. Yahweh’s Word shows you how you truly are inside. How He created you and wants you to be. So the best way to know who you are, is to study the Bible very well.
Psalms 25:5
Lead me in Your Truth and teach me, For You, Yahweh are the God of my salvation; For You I wait all the day.
The writer here wants to know Yahweh’s Truth because this is the only Truth that is really excisting. Nowadays it’s taught that their are more truths. Every one seems to have his own truth. But if that what you think is true is in conflict with what Yahweh tells you what is true, you can be certain that your truth is a lie.
So the Bible helps you to discover what is true and what is a lie.
We learned a lot of reasons why it’s good to study the Word of Yahweh.
1 You will be liberated from sins.
2 You will come in the Kingdom of Yahweh.
3 You become a more loving person.
4 Love around you is growing too
5 You will become someone who keeps his word.
6 You will become like Yeshua
7 You will become your true self.
8 You will know what is good and right.
I hope this are enough reasons for you to want to know more about God’s Yahweh, the Truth.
