Receiving Grace
Romans 11:6
But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works, otherwise grace is no longer grace.
Grace is a gift of Yahweh to us. We can’t earn it. We don’t deserve it. Yahweh give it us because He loves us. It is available for everyone who admits that he is a sinner and put his hope in the Son of Yahweh, Yeshua who died on the cross for our sins. He took our punishment on Him.
1 John 4:10
In this is love, not that we loved Yahweh, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
Without the blood of a sacrifice you cannot be forgiven. Yeshua was our sacrifice. When you confess your sins, accept the sacrifice of Yeshua and ask forgiveness from Yahweh, you will receive Yahweh’s mercy.
Titus 3:5-7
He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out upon us richly through Yeshua, the Messiah, our Savior, so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
Yahweh’s justifying grace, or mercy, is not only the forgiveness of our sins, but also our baptism in the Holy Spirit, so that we be born again and get a new life without sins.
We have to ask for the Holy Spirit and believe that we receive the Holy Spirit. We have to believe that we get a new life without sins and pray for it. And we let ourselves be baptized as an act of belief.
When we get this baptism in the Spirit, we are born again and have a new life without sins. And we become children of Yahweh. From this moment you are a citizen of Yahweh’s Kingdom.
But His grace doesn’t stop here.
Hebrews 8:10-12
For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel After those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws into their minds, And I will write them on their hearts. And I will be their God, And they shall be My people. And they shall not teach everyone his fellow citizen, And everyone his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ For all will know Me, From the least to the greatest of them. For I will be merciful to their iniquities, And I will remember their sins no more.”
Ezekiel 36:26-27
Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances.
Yahweh expect from us also that we become partakers from the new covenant. If we become partakers from the new covenant we will receive the sanctifying grace.
Titus 2:11-14
For the grace of Yahweh has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Yeshua the Messiah, who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds.
To become partakers we have to be willing to receive the new heart from Yahweh and the new spirit. We have to believe that we need a new heart and a new spirit. We have to believe that we will receive it. We have to pray for it and we have to eat Yeshua’s flesh and drink Yeshua’s blood as act of belief.
From this moment we start to desire to do the Will of Yahweh. We are a part of Yeshua now. And Yeshua will be in us. Our thinking, talking and acting will be more and more like Yeshua’s thinking, talking and acting.
The Word of Yahweh and the Holy Spirit will help you to understand the Will of Yahweh. While you are praying you will receive thoughts that show you the steps that you have to take to walk in Yahweh’s Plan for your life.
We become holy.
Yahweh’s grace is not stopping here. It continues.
2 Corinthians 8:6-7
So we urged Titus that as he had previously made a beginning, so he would also complete in you this gracious work as well. But just as you abound in everything, in faith and utterance and knowledge and in all earnestness and in the love we inspired in you, see that you abound in this gracious work also.
When we are like Yeshua, we will start to do works of grace. We start to share the Word of Yahweh, to share what we received from Yahweh and we start to bless people in many ways. You can do this because of the sharing grace you received. You now operate totally in Yahweh’s Plan for your life. You become as Yahweh wants you to be. You become who you really are. Peace and joy will be complete in you. And nothing can steal this anymore from you.
