Yeshua's Kingdom
First we going to read a part of the conversation between Yeshua and Pilate.
We read the question of Pilate:
John 18:33
Then Pilate went back inside the palace. He called for Yeshua and asked Him, “Are you the king of the Israelites?”
Yeshua’s answer we find in:
John 18:36-37
Yeshua said, “My Kingdom does not belong to this world. If it did, My servants would fight so that I would not be handed over to the Jewish leaders. No, My Kingdom is not an earthly one.” Pilate said, “So you are a king.” Yeshua answered, “You are right to say that I am a king.
Here we read that Yeshua affirms to Pilate that He is a king. But not from a kingdom on earth. Let’s us try to find out what this means.
Yahweh, the almighty God and Creator of the universe is King over all. However, it was not long before we rebelled against this King. The fallen spiritual world of satan and his demons penetrated our world and we crowned him our king. We were going to do what he whispered to us.
Because of this there was a separation between the place where Yahweh was and – the Kingdom of heaven where Yahweh’s Will was done – and the place where man was left behind. The kingdom of the satan.
If Yeshua say that His Kingdom is not from earth. He means that the rules of the Kingdom in heaven will be applied. Yeshua’s Kingdom isn’t visible till the moment that He comes back. His Kingdom will be on earth but with the rules of Yahweh and not the rules from the satan.
Colossians 1:13
Yahweh made us free from the power of darkness. And He brought us into the Kingdom of his dear Son.
Yahweh liberates us out of the kingdom of satan and brings us into Yeshua’s Kingdom. At least if our sins are forgiven and we accept Yeshua and Yahweh in our lives and started to do the Will of Yahweh. Then Yahweh liberates us. This is counting for Israelites and non-Israelites.
Revelation 11:15
The seventh angel blew his trumpet. Then there were loud voices in heaven. The voices said, “The kingdom of the world has now become the Kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah. And He will rule forever and ever.”
This what we just read is not happened yet. There will be a time that the kingdom of the world is no longer from satan, but it will be from Yeshua. And this Kingdom of Yeshua is forever.
We will be King too in Yeshua’s Kingdom, when we are faithful to Yeshua, also when we’re suffering.
We can read that in:
2 Timothy 2:12
If we remain faithful even in suffering, we will also rule with Him. If we refuse to say we know Him, He will refuse to say He knows us.
And in Luke chapter 22 we read how we have to behave us as kings. Not only in future, but also now.
Luke 22:25-26
But Yeshua said to them, “The kings of the world rule over their people, and those who have authority over others want to be called ‘the great providers for the people.’ But you must not be like that. The one with the most authority among you should act as if he is the least important. The one who leads should be like one who serves.
Yeshua is telling us that if we want to be a leader we must serve the people. The kings here on earth want to be served. But in Yeshua’s Kingdom it is not like that. In His Kingdom the leaders serving the people.
At the end when satan is defeated and even death is defeated, Yeshua will give the Kingdom to Yahweh, His Father. Yahweh is then the King of kings and Yeshua is a King under the authority of His Father.
We can read that in 1 Corinthians chapter 15.
1 Corinthians 15:25
For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet.
In this Kingdom are no sinners, there’s no satan, no demons, the creation is perfect again and there’s no sickness and no death. This is why there’s peace and joy in this Kingdom forever. And everyone will be sound and live also forever.
