The Mark of Yahweh
Deuteronomy 6:4-9
“Hear, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand and they shall be as frontals on your forehead. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
Hear, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. These Words of Yahweh are a sign on your hand and a frontal on your forehead. This Law has to be so strong in you, that everyone recognize you as a child of Yahweh, because of your way of talking, your way of thinking and your way of acting. Your hand is a symbol of the acting and the forehead is the symbol of your thinking. The sign is a remembrance of the Law that is in you. You are allowed to bind a sign on your arm and forehead like the Jewish people do, but it is more a symbolic explanation of how important this Law has to be for you. We have to make small things that remind us of Yahweh. For example a poster with the text of the Law on our door. A bracelet with 1 sky-blue threat and white threats. Create small moments every where you are to remember Yahweh and His Law. And of course talk about it and show it in your behavior and your way of talking.
Deuteronomy 11:13-18
“It shall come about, if you listen obediently to my commandments which I am commanding you today, to love the Lord your God and to serve Him with all your heart and all your soul, that He will give the rain for your land in its season, the early and late rain, that you may gather in your grain and your new wine and your oil. He will give grass in your fields for your cattle, and you will eat and be satisfied. Beware that your hearts are not deceived, and that you do not turn away and serve other gods and worship them. Or the anger of the Lord will be kindled against you, and He will shut up the heavens so that there will be no rain and the ground will not yield its fruit; and you will perish quickly from the good land which the Lord is giving you. “You shall therefore impress these words of mine on your heart and on your soul; and you shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontals on your forehead.
Yahweh is talking here about the total Law of Him. Again His Law has to be very important for you. It has to be in your heart. If you do His Law He will bless you with a good harvest and a lot of children and newborn cattle. A good harvest means also that the work we do becomes fruitful. The people around you will recognize you as a child of Yahweh because of your behavior and the blessings you receive.
Matthew 22:35-40
One of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” And He said to him, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets.”
Yeshua is here telling us that this commandment is very important. This commandment together with the commandment to love your neighbor as yourself, are the 2 Laws on which the whole Law depends. So by doing these 2 Laws perfectly, you fulfill the whole Law. And doing the Law of Yahweh will bless you abundantly.
Exodus 13:14-16
And it shall be when your son asks you in time to come, saying, ‘What is this?’ then you shall say to him, ‘With a powerful hand the Lord brought us out of Egypt, from the house of slavery. It came about, when Pharaoh was stubborn about letting us go, that the Lord killed every firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man and the firstborn of beast. Therefore, I sacrifice to the Lord the males, the first offspring of every womb, but every firstborn of my sons I redeem.’ So it shall serve as a sign on your hand and as phylacteries on your forehead, for with a powerful hand the Lord brought us out of Egypt.”
This is the a way to show to Yahweh and the rest of the world how much you appreciate that the Lord saved you and made you a member of His nation and a citizen of His Kingdom. When there was a temple the first sons were serving in the temple. Later Levites served in the temple instead of the firstborn sons. The Levites redeemed the firstborn sons.
There are 2 ways to do this Law:
1 The male newborn cattle is given to a priest.
2 Or the price of the newborn cattle is given to the priest.
In Yeshua we are all given as servants to Yahweh. And we’re part of His body, while He is the head. That means we serve Yeshua. And Yeshua is serving Yahweh. So together with Yeshua we serve Yahweh. If we don’t serve Yeshua, we’re not born again. And we are not a child of Yahweh. We’re together with Yeshua the firstfruits from the people who will be in the Kingdom in the future. We’re from Yahweh.
Exodus 13:8-9
You shall tell your son on that day, saying, ‘It is because of what the Lord did for me when I came out of Egypt.’ And it shall serve as a sign to you on your hand, and as a reminder on your forehead, that the law of the Lord may be in your mouth; for with a powerful hand the Lord brought you out of Egypt.
The sign on your hand and on your forehead is a reminder of the Law of Yahweh. You suppose to talk about the Law. And about what Yahweh did for you. Because the Law is a sign on your forehead as a reminder.
Revelation 13:15-17
And it was given to him to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast would even speak and cause as many as do not worship the image of the beast to be killed. And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name.
Now we know what the sign of Yahweh is, can we know what the sign of the beast is. When we do the law of the antichrist. When we do his will, we have right for his sign. This sign give you several rights that make your life easy to live. But you lose this rights when you are disobedient. You will be killed too if you don’t change your behavior and you don’t want to obey the antichrist. How the system will be, we can only guess at this moment. But control will be very strong is this system.
We as follower of Yeshua are warned for this system because we’re unable to do the will of the antichrist. If we do that, we will lose our rights in Yahweh’s Kingdom. Because you’re disobeying Yahweh when you do the will of the antichrist.
So be warned and think twice about what you do or what you don’t do.
